Since October 2020 I am working as Head of Department and Research Group Leader at Fraunhofer IMTE. Before that, I led the Laboratory of Medical Electronics (LME) at the TH Lübeck for 5 years and worked as a Senior Researcher at the CoSA research group.
During an internship in 2016 at Microsoft Research in Redmond, I worked with the MSR Medical Devices Group.
I received a Doctoral degree (Dr.-Ing.) from the University of Lübeck and a M.Sc. from the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences.
In addition to my affiliation at University of Lübeck, I am external member of the ETH Zürich SIPLAB.
My research focus is on the development of novel biomedical measurement approaches and instrumentation, especially for enhanced bioimpedance and EMG techniques.
